Islam And Jihad.Reality Contradicts With The True Meaning

1.I am a Muslim since the year I was born.And I will be a Muslim until my last breath.When I was young,my parents sent me to religious classes so that I will learn the beauty of Islam.

2.For years of learning,I still find myself imperfect. I always think that I need to get more knowledge on my religion,Islam.My thoughts were strengthen by looking at the violence that happened in the middle east.

3.The violence were started by Muslim itself.They start to create military organisations in the name of Islam.They use the term ‘Jihad’ to influence Muslims especially the young to join them.These people were called jihadists and if they die Allah will grant them matyrdom.

4.But do they really understand the true meaning of jihad.I don’t think so..

5.Jihad means struggle.Those typical Muslims will understand the meaning of jihad as struggle or war against the unbelievers.But the greatest jihad is struggle against our own worldly desires.

6.That is the real meaning of jihad.And many Muslims nowadays interprete it wrongly.They should stop commiting sins and follow the commandment of god and His prophet Muhammad.

7.They should fight(jihad) against their own desires that will lead them to hell before fighting the unbelievers.Get to know well about jihad before you speak about it.Understand it well before doing it.

8.Once there was a Jew who wrote a book about the weaknesses of us,Muslims.One of the weaknesses we have is that we are too lazy to read.

9.We do read the Quran but do we understand the meaning?We know the story of our prophets.But we got to know it from other people.We don't read the stories directly from a reliable source.This is what we need to fight (jihad) for. Against our own laziness.

10.We interpret our religion wrongly especially in the concept of jihad.The misinterpretation that we made resulted in islamophobia among the west towards us.

11.So before you go to the middle east to fight against the unbelievers,you should fight against your laziness first.

12.The biggest enemy of Islam is ignorant Muslim.Whose ignorance leads him to intolerance.Whose actions destroy the true image of Islam.And when people look at him,they think Islam is what he is.
