Another Gloomy Day For Pakatan Harapan
On Saturday, 18 January 2020, a by election was held in Kimanis. Barisan Nasional candidate, Mohamad Alamin was elected with a majority of 2029 votes. It is just another defeat for Pakatan Harapan after the Tanjung Piai by election. Until today, Pakatan Harapan has suffered 5 losses. The loss in Kimanis cannot be treated as a mere defeat. But it depicts a clear deprivation of support and confidence of the people towards the ruling party. The government has to do something. Corrective measures ought to be taken if Pakatan Harapan wants to stay relevant until the next election. Major changes have to be made. Up until today, Pakatan Harapan is still living in denial. They have to realise that their glory days have passed. And now they are being scrutinised by the people. Many of their decisions were questioned. Some ministers are incompetent and unscrupulous.
